Glorious Garlic Dressing

Glorious Garlic Dressing
In your blender combine:

  • 4-6 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1/2c Braggs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1c Organic Olive Oil
  • 1/3c Water, preferably filtered
  • 1 1/2T Honey, preferably raw and local
  • 1T Organic Dijon Mustard
  • 1/4t Celtic Sea Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Glorious Garlic Vinaigrette IngredientsToss everything together, blend until smooth and creamy. (I love my VitaMix Blender- if you don’t have one.. Enter this amazing giveaway Cheesesalve is going for a VitaMix!) I recommend starting out with 4 cloves of garlic and add additional to taste after everything is blended together. I love garlic and usually use the full 6 cloves, but sometimes you get garlic that’s extra spicy and you don’t want to make your dressing hot-n-spicy! Will yield about 2 cups of dressing. Drizzle over your salad, toss and Enjoy!

  1. I made this a few days ago and just had it on a large dinner salad tonight. This is wonderful! I kept going “hmmm”, “hmmm” while eating. Delicious and the perfect balance of tart sweet. I used a Splenda packet or two though sine that’s what I had. Will be keeping this in my regular line up for sure.

    1. I made this and I love it!! I’ve been eating it on lots of things, including putting it in the pan for wilted greens to topping my ground turkey burgers! Thanks again!

  2. Thanks for the great recipe, you’ve been featured on my blog: http://www.colorfulcanary.com/2014/12/its-cold-flu-season-19-germ-fighting.html

  3. Is there any way that we can skip on the honey on the recipe? maybe use stevia in raw? or is honey crucial for consistency? Thanks!!

  4. I made this dressing omitting the mustard but added some fresh chopped basil from the garden and my 9year old niece tried it and said it was the bomb. She asked her mom to make it as soon as they got home 🙂

  5. Sounds delicious! Thank you so much for sharing. Maybe I will start eating more veggies with the help of this awesome dressing.

    1. It’s so yummy it typically doesn’t last long 🙂 However I think the longest I’ve kept it is 2 weeks before it was all gone – and that was stored in my kitchen cabinet – refrigeration would keep it longer but it might get really thick since there’s olive oil it in 🙂
