The Best Natural Dry Shampoo {and save 15%}
Exciting news coming your way… NOW! I’ve found The BEST Natural Dry Shampoo and you are going to LOVE how easy it makes your healthy hair routine, yet doesn’t leave your hair a dusty mess.
Whether you’re a no ‘poo kind of girl like Hayley or a “clean” shampoo girl who hasn’t fully committed to the no ‘poo method just yet like me (Karli), I’ve got a NEW hair product for you…
Life on the homestead for this mama gets busy.
Let’s face it – life in general gets busy, right? When we get busy, we want those little helper products that can make our day-to-day a bit less stressful. Think time-savers.
Think DRY SHAMPOO! Who doesn’t love some dry shampoo, y’all??
I find that using my “clean” shampoo & conditioner keeps my hair fresh for about a day – two at the most. To extend the time between washes, I am all about using dry shampoo. Discovered the stuff a few years back when I was running a health food store & haven’t been without it since.
When Hayley told me that Morrocco Method offered a dry shampoo, I knew that I had to get it in my life. I already adore their natural bristle brushes for a good scalp massage, so I had a feeling that I wouldn’t be let down by their dry shampoo.
On a side note – Did you know that brushing is actually a form of dry-shampooing itself??? Stimulation from the bristles distributes sebum throughout hair and scalp, making both stronger and more resilient. It’s also an excellent natural conditioner because coating hair with sebum as you brush restores moisture, giving hair added sheen, smoothed texture and greater manageability. I guess I am a part-time no ‘pooer after all. ;). Hayley swears by using her natural bristle brush to brush her hair BEFORE washing for better, healthier hair that needs less shampoo and less conditioner.
When picking out a new product to try, I always check out the ingredient list first.
Let me tell ya, the folks over at Morrocco Method know their stuff when it comes to safe, clean ingredients. Their Volcanic Powder Dry Shampoo combines clays, minerals, and botanicals from around the world. This powerhouse trio of natural ingredients gently absorbs excess oils and toxins, giving hair a natural glow without dusty residue — not even in Hayley’s nearly black hair!
That’s all super important to me in the dry shampoo department… no dusty residue, please! I was also impressed that the unique formulation can assist in reversing chemical damage caused by synthetic shampoos and even protects against smog, sun and wind.
The main ingredient, bentonite clay, is a naturally forming volcanic powder that draws out impurities from the roots and follicles while also protecting the scalp’s natural oils. Aloe Vera and Prickly Pear powder deliver essential vitamins and anti-oxidants to seal in moisture, fight breakouts and balance pH levels to keep hair shiny and healthy.
Interested in how to use it? Easy… not complicated at all!
How to Use Morrocco Method Volcanic Dry Shampoo:
- First, I section my hair into 3 or 4 parts with my fingers & then sprinkle a little Volcanic Dry Shampoo directly to my exposed scalp (Hayley uses a small makeup brush).
- Next, I gently massage the product into my hair, starting with the roots at the crown of my head.
- Then, I bend over and also apply to my underside roots, again massaging the product in with my fingertips. Sometimes, I even lightly dust the oily areas
- Last, to ensure even distribution, I use my Pure Boar Bristle Brush to gently work the powder through my hair. If you want to try this, be sure to brush outwards from the top of the head, working down to the ends. Then, bending at the waist, brush the underside of the hair, starting at the nape of the neck and working upwards.
If you are a fellow dry shampoo lover like myself (or you just have hair in general), you’ve got to get yourself some of this stuff.
Don’t you want to grab yourself a bottle & even better, SAVE some money?
P.S. While you’re at it, pick up a travel size brush for all of your upcoming holiday traveling.
Till next time…
