Gluten-Free Sausage Waffle Sliders {Paleo}
I’m excited to be hanging out at the Morgantown Farmer’s Market again this morning, on behalf of our friends at Working H Meats and Market – sharing my Gluten-Free Sausage Waffle Sliders!
Today I’m featuring their Old Plantation Sausage! While we’ve tried so many of their meats this was a new sausage for us and I gotta admit it’s my new favorite. Not overpowering, just enough seasoning.
At first bite, I knew this sausage was just begging to be paired with maple syrup and waffles!!!
But don’t be boring and lazy – Ditch the unhealthy, processed frozen waffles and make your own from scratch. Surprise your family with these cute little Gluten-Free Sausage Waffle Sliders for a fun breakfast or snack!
When I became obsessed with making waffle sliders (see my Chicken Waffle Sliders HERE) I searched high and low for a mini waffle maker – there is one that exists but I could not find one to purchase anywhere local or on-line. And of the few things I found that MIGHT work, most were way to big for a bite-sized slider… Until I found these wonderful waffle silicone pans! They are the perfect size, roughly a quarter.
I used my AMAZING grain-free Belgium Waffle Recipe from my cookbook Without Grain for the mini waffles. You can purchase a copy at the Farmer’s Market or order one online HERE.
