Red Wine Vinaigrette
I’ve been making the same Red Wine Vinaigrette for years, it’s inspired by my Gram Elsie’s salad dressing.
Gram had a little catering business when I was growing up, I helped her and my mom when I was really little. I think I was 13 when we no longer needed my mom 🙂 and we continued until I was in my early 20s. My Gram was an awesome cook! I think every memory of my Gram is cooking, working in her garden or shopping! (huh, wonder where I learned my hobbies from!?!?)
Gram Elsie passed away in March 2012 (just about a year ago) and I miss her dearly. I wish I could share this little blog with her… but to be totally honest – she didn’t like to share her recipes! She said you can give out a recipe but you always leave out one important ingredient so when they make it, it’s never as good as yours.. Needless to say I don’t follow her advice 🙂 I love to share my recipes with you!!
Gram made her dressing with an italian dressing packet mix, I recreated it with real food!
