DIY Pumpkin Spice Latte Non-Toxic Cleaning Spray
I just took PSL to a whole new level. Not only do I enjoy drinking a Pumpkin Spice Latte during the cool fall months, I also love having a house that’s PSL scented – without any toxic chemicals or burning carcinogenic scented candles!
My Pumpkin Spice Latte Non-Toxic Cleaning Spray wouldn’t be possible without my friends at Rocky Mountain Oils. I’ve been singing their praises for the past year and their New Fall and Winter EO oil blends have become my fast favorites.
Like, I’m totes impressed.
Let’s face it, even though we are all crunchy-minded we still crave that fragrance that fills our home. Those warm holiday scents that fill us with joy. Unfortunately, until recently these scents only came from chemical sprays and artificially scented candles.
With the Pumpkin Spice Latte and Peppermint Mocha Essential Oil Blends from RMO, you get all those warm and fuzzy scents of fall, but none of the toxic exposure.

Not only can use Pumpkin Spice Latte Essential Oil Blend (or any of the other awesome RMO holiday blends) in your diffuser for room filling aromatherapy, BUT you can also use it in your household cleaning spray!
I clean my ENTIRE house, safely and without toxic chemicals with this all purpose spray cleaner; swapping out the essential oil aromatherapy seasonally.
After we’re done with a delicious and healthy meal, as I’m cleaning up the kitchen…. using my Pumpkin Spice Latte Non-Toxic Cleaning Spray is so soothing. It’s like dessert for my nose, making cleaning a little less of a bummer.
While the essential oils scent is certainly the highlight of my non-toxic spray cleaner, the hero is THIS Biodegradable Cleaning Concentrate.
Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds Liquid Cleaner Concentrate has been my secret cleaning weapon for YEARS. While many folks will tell you to use inexpensive white vinegar for all of your cleaning, I’m totally against it >> Click here to learn why I don’t use Vinegar to Clean <<
Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds Liquid Cleaner is not a soap but instead is a concentrated hard-surface all-purpose cleaner. It is made with plant-based surfactants and natural fir needle and spruce essential oils (no cheap, harsh pine stump oil), without any synthetic dyes, fragrances or preservatives. Perfect for general household cleaning (dishes, floors, laundry, etc.), it cleans and rinses with exceptional power, yet it is mild and gentle on the skin. Sal Suds Liquid Cleaner is equally effective in hard or soft water, rinsing freely, hot or cold. It is 100% cruelty-free, as certified by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics, and it will biodegrade rapidly after doing its job.
We also rely on Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds when we go camping for doing dishes and as a spray cleaner, since we are positive it won’t contaminate the soil or surrounding waterways.
And a little goes a long way! Since it’s a cleaning concentrate, you just need to add a few drops to clean your entire house.
How to Make Pumpkin Spice Latte Non-Toxic Cleaning Spray
Fill your glass spray bottle nearly full with water, add roughly 1/2 teaspoon or 1 pump of cleaning concentrate and up to 10 drops of essential oil(s). Shake well each time before using.
Don’t make the mistake of putting the soap in first! If you do, when adding the water into the soap, it will make a sudsy mess. Learn from my mistake, ok!?
Love this now I can make my own cleaner with fall scents. What size glass bottle do you use?
