My Everyday Healthy Green Juice Recipe
As a part of my healthy lifestyle, I frequently enjoy a Healthy Green Juice. The key to a Healthy vs Un-Healthy Green juice is making sure that you aren’t including too much fruit or root vegetables. If your juice contains too many fruits, it will be both higher in calories and sugar (fructose – I recommend keeping your daily fructose consumption to 25g per day or less) – which defeats the purpose of juicing for health benefits, benefits like triggering autophagy and stabilizing gut health.
When I first started juicing several years ago, most of my juices were mostly fruit.. but over time I gradually transitioned less fruit and more vegetables. It can take a little while to get used to the flavors and no longer anticiapte a sweet-treat from your juice.
Depending on where you are on your health & juicing journey, feel free to use additional apples as needed to taste. Also it is imperative that you ALWAYS use ORGANIC fruits and vegetables for juicing.

- 1 Granny Smith Apple
- 2 ribs Celery
- 1 head Romaine Lettuce
- 1/2 large English Cucumber
- 2 leaves Kale or Chard
- 1/2 medium Lemon with peel
- small piece of Ginger
