Addictively Delicious Horseradish Sauce
It’s a dip, it’s a sauce, it’s a dressing… You’re going to be putting my Addictively Delicious Horseradish Sauce on EVERYTHING!
I feel extremely guilty even calling this a recipe.. it’s just a sauce that I throw together regularly. I love it drizzled on Sous Vide Venison Tenderloin (recipe coming soon), as a dressing on a salad, as a dip for my Crispy Oven Baked Brussels Sprouts (recipe coming soon) and Crispy Artichoke Hearts… oh and it’s especially fun to jazz up your St Patrick’s Day Corned Beef Brisket (recipe coming soon)!
There’s really only 2 ingredients; Mayonnaise and prepared Horseradish.
But not just any old prepared horseradish, Bubbies is the BEST! (this is not sponsored, just be being real with you)
Bubbies take all-natural seriously! Their prepared horseradish is fortified using natural mustard oil, not the artificial stuff often hidden in ingredients like “soybean oil” and “flavoring.” Also they are OU Kosher certified, made with gluten free vinegar and produced in a gluten free facility!
The pungent horseradish flavor adds zest to any meal and they continue the high quality for which all Bubbies’ products are known.
I literally purchase it by the CASE from Azure Standard — PS I also buy cases of Bubbies Fermented Kosher Dill Pickles and their Fermented Sauerkraut too – in addition to a large portion of my other groceries at deep discounts.
I also use it in my Flavor Bomb Deviled Eggs, Cocktail Sauce, Potato Salad and Confetti Egg Salad… I pretty much use it everywhere I use mayonnaise, they go together so well!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup prepared horseradish
- 1 pinch Sea Salt
- 1 pinch Black Pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients together and mix well. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving. Will keep in the refrigerator for a week.
Did you drain the horseradish before combining it with the mayo?
Nope
Hi – have you ever tried freezing it? I am the only one who likes horseradish sauce in my family so it would make WAY too much for me to use in a week. I wondered about freezing it for future use (if it would turn out equally good once it was thawed out again). Thanks in advance!
Just make a small batch. I would not suggest freezing it.
where did you purchase the jar you are storing the sauce in?
HERE is a link to the jar.
Be careful reading on Amazon reviews some of these Weck Jar sellers are selling fakes. Do not have Weck stamp on them and are breaking/cracking. Be sure they have Weck stamp and check reviews before buying!
Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
It’s definitely a recipe!! Looks delicious too!
