Keto Creamy BBQ Horseradish Dip for Pork Rinds
Creamy, Sweet and Tangy, my Keto Creamy BBQ Horseradish Dip for Pork Rinds will conquer your crunchy snack craving without sabotaging your low carb diet!
When it comes to eating a keto diet, the biggest food group that I miss is crunchy snacks and delicious dips!
If you aren’t already keeping pork rinds in your pantry for a crunchy snack, you are seriously missing out. I love THESE big barrels of them from Amazon! Pork rinds also are the key to deliciousness like my Keto Steak Nuggets and my Low-Carb Breading Mix.
While pork rinds are wonderful dipped in my Homemade Ranch Dip and Blue Cheese Dressing, I’ve been craving something with a little more flare. More of a POP of flavor.
After perfecting my Easy Keto BBQ Sauce Recipe, making this Keto Creamy BBQ Horseradish Dip was a no brainer.
Please tell me I’m not the only one with a horseradish obsession??
I’m notorious for whipping up a batch of my Addictively Delicious Horseradish Sauce several times a week to enjoy with a grilled steak or drizzled over top of steamed veggies for a pop of flavor. And no shrimp cocktail is complete without my Homemade Cocktail Sauce with extra horseradish!
Making my Low Carb Creamy BBQ Horseradish is so easy!
It’s simply combining mayonnaise with some Keto BBQ Sauce and prepared horseradish. Then be prepared to enjoy the flavor explosion!
For those of you who are not already obsessed with Horseradish and don’t keep it regularly stocked in your fridge… no worries! You can find prepared (ground) horseradish in most supermarkets in the refrigerated area. Locally I find it both along with the produce and near the eggs/dairy depending on the store.
It’s just horseradish root that has been peeled & ground. Other ingredients that may be included are vinegar and salt. You don’t want a cream based horseradish sauce, you just want plain ground horseradish.
Horseradish is also the key ingredient in my famous Flavor Bomb Deviled Eggs.
Horseradish is spicy but not in the same way that a jalapeño pepper is. It’s a heat you feel in your sinuses that quickly subsides, more similar to wasabi but not as intensely concentrated.
Here’s a few more of my recipes that use horseradish AND are keto, low-carb friendly!
